GWM Listed in “China's Most Admired Companies 2017”

The award ceremony of “2017 China's Most Admired Companies” was held in Beijing on April 8, and GWM was listed in “China’s 100 Most Admired Companies”

The award ceremony of “2017 China's Most Admired Companies” was held in Beijing on April 8, and GWM was listed in “China’s 100 Most Admired Companies”. 


 For quite a long time, GWM has been actively fulfilling its social responsibilities (specifically observing laws and disciplines and operating honestly) and attaching importance to GWM governance, return to shareholders and innovation works, winning admiration of investors. 

 In this selection activity, 5,389 individual investors and 592 common institutional investors voted in a real-name manner via the investor survey sample database of China Securities Investor Protection Fund Corporation Limited, and 153 professional institutional investors voted in a real-name manner via the website of Chinese Association for Public Companies. This multi-dimensional selection was carried out based on such factors as company performance, cash bonus, performance in secondary market, integrity and compliance with specifications. 


 This selection was organized by Chinese Association for Public Companies and co-organized by China Securities Investor Protection Fund Corporation Limited, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Securities Association of China, Asset Management Association of China and China Securities Investor Services Center. 


 Now, GWM has over 70,000 employees and three brands, namely Great Wall, HAVAL and WEY. GWM products ranges from middle-large-size SUV, compacted SUV, small-size SUV to pick-up, saloon and new-energy vehicle. There are over 10 models in total. On top of this, GWM possesses the capability to manufacture, research and develop such core parts as generator and transmission. In 2017, GWM had a gross revenue of RMB 101.169 billion. 


 The 1.5GDIT engine developed by GWM itself is valued as 2017 “Chinese Heart” Annual Top Ten Engines and the 7DCT wet-type dual clutch transmission is awarded as the World’s Top Ten Transmissions. 


 In the first quarter of this year, 256,600 GWM vehicles were sold. Among those vehicles, nearly 127,700 HAVAL H6s (star model) were sold. Continuous breakthroughs have been made in terms of sales volume of WEY vehicles, making it a real “Leader of China's luxurious SUV”.
