Recently, GWM donated the first HAVAL H6 HEV off the assembly line of Rayong factory in Thailand to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and her public welfare and social organization. Wang Liping, economic and commercial minister-counsellor of the Chinese embassy in Thailand, Zhang Jiaming, the president of ASEAN region of GWM, Wang Shihui, the vice president of ASEAN region of GWM, and other senior management of GWM attended the donation ceremony at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Palace.  The new energy vehicle will bear the friendship between China and Thailand, initiate the green and low-carbon transportation philosophy, and support the future public welfare undertakings of Princess Sirindhorn. 

Princess Sirindhorn cordially met with the minister-counsellor Wang Liping and the delegation of GWM, and expressed a warm welcome to the guests. The minister-counselor Wang Liping expressed that, as the envoy of China-Thailand friendship, Princess Sirindhorn made a remarkable contribution to the promotion of China-Thailand friendship and the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation between both countries. China is ready to work with Thailand to carry forward the traditional friendship of "China and Thailand as one family" and strengthen the cooperation in all fields to make China-Thailand relations grow stronger and closer. At the same time, China is ready to work with Thailand to fight the epidemic and tide over the difficulties, overcome the epidemic at an early date and resume economic and social development.

The president Zhang Jiaming said that, "It's a great pleasure to have the chance to personally visit Princess Sirindhorn. As a great envoy of China-Thailand friendship, Princess Sirindhorn has made praiseworthy charities in countries and regions like China and Thailand, and set a good example for us. We will denote the first HAVAL H6 HEV manufactured in Thailand to Princess Sirindhorn; and we hope that this car can undertake an important mission and help Princess Sirindhorn with the development of public welfare undertakings in Thailand.    GWM will also actively practice the social responsibilities of enterprise and continue to contribute the strength of Chinese enterprise in the social development of Thailand."

As the first model of GWM to open up the Thailand market, HAVAL H6 HEV represents the brand value of "new energy, new intelligence, and new experience" of GWM, and injects new vitality to the transformation and upgrade of Thailand automobile industry.
