On April 20, Haval's Booth 04 in Hall W4 was crowded with over 1,000 journalists and visitors. At 11 AM, Haval Coupe and Haval H2 on both sides were released in succession, warming up the booth instantly; the booth was in the spotlight with journalists and visitors coming in endless streams.
At the release conference, Haval Coupe came out first at the Haval booth. Its design director Pierre introduced, "As a concept-to-be model, Haval Coupe represents Haval's frontier concept for the future and the standard of Haval's desired products for consumers."
According to sources, Haval Coupe is a model which pioneers future modeling of the Haval Sport series developed and designed by GWM's international technical team for global consumers. Perfectly integrating the SUV's cross-country performance, the sports car's genes and the limousine's comfort and luxury, it gives full rein to an European leading and trendy design concept, and is a new evolution of Haval's iconic design. It has a concise and fluid body and is based on real-time AWD PHEV platform; featuring eAD technology which accomplishes intelligent distribution under the AWD mode and ensures a perfect balance between vehicle power and economy, it consumes only 2.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
China's first "customized" model--Haval H2 Mass was released as the second model at the booth after Haval Coupe. The model is scheduled to be launched in China this July and the Elite 2WD version will be available then at a presales price of 105,800 yuan. After its launch, more versions will be launched to offer multiple customized choices.
According to Pierre's introduction, carrying the 1.5T+6MT transmission system, Haval H2 is powerful, maneuverable and light, is similar to cars of the same size in fuel economy, and is concise, elegant and delicate. Furthermore, the T-shaped console and IMD decorative plate with silver lines present amazing visual effects. Rich configuration such as dual airbags, tire pressure monitor, cruise control, keyless entry system, one-button startup and reversing image makes it more popular. It is a customized model. Consumers can have their vehicles customized as they like.
To deepen visitors' understanding of the model, GWM brought five Haval H2 vehicles to Auto China 2014, including black-white, red-black, red-white and brown-white customized versions, as well as an elegant silver version for free viewing and experience by consumers.
Haval booth presented eight models and four engines this time. Haval Coupe and Haval H2 were released on the scene, Haval H9 and Coupe C made their global debut, and widely-watched models such as Haval H6 Sport, Haval H6 Update and H8-modeled Haval Dakar Rally Racecar all showed up, making visitors feel the Haval style.
