GWM shows up at MIAS 2014 with Great Wall & HAVAL brands

Moscow International Automobile Salon 2014 (MIAS 2014) took place at Crocus ExpoInternational Exhibition Center from August 27 to September 7, 2014. Chinese largest pickup and SUV manufacturer GWM showed up with Great Wall and HAVAL brands, presenting 12 models and 3 core engines to demonstrate its products and R & D strength to the Russian people.

HAVAL makes debut with focus on SUV

With an area of nearly 1,000 square meters, located at Pavilion 13, Hall 3, HAVAL booth (B205) presented six starmodels--HAVAL H8, HAVAL H2, HAVAL H6, HAVAL H9, Coupe C and HAVAL Dakar Racecaras well as three core engines. The exhibition marked HAVAL's debut in Russiaand abroad after HAVAL’s independence on March 29, 2013. At the pressconference on August 27, Wang Shihui, general manager of GWM InternationalTrade Division, expounded HAVAL brand and its future plan for the Russian market.

HAVAL H2 and HAVAL H8 were unveiled at the press conference. As two star models of HAVAL brand, they attracted wide media attention upon appearance. As a professional SUV brand, HAVAL products cover city and off-road SUVs, and includes mini, compact and medium& large SUV series which cater to the locals' preferences.

Also, HAVAL set up a 1,872-square-meteroutdoor experience zone in 10W002 against professional SUV brands such as LandRover. With six HAVAL H8 units, the zone presented items such as single hump,wading, cross axes, roll, bumpy road, seesaw and single-side bridge to makeRussian consumers feel HAVAL's professional quality at close range.

Great Wall brand has taken root in Russia for ten years

With an area of over 600 squaremeters, located at Pavilion 15, Hall 3, the Great Wall booth (D104) was sharedby GWM and its Russian distributor Irito. The booth presented Great Wall M4,New Great Wall H3, New Great Wall H5, Great Wall H6, Wingle 5 and Great Wall H5(for the Silk Road Rally).

At the press conference on August 27, Irito released its latest system—REMOTO, to Russian media and consumers.The system gave full expression to the human-oriented service concept. Withthis system the driver can control the door lock and the trunk door, start theengine, pre-regulate interior temperature and accomplish the functions ofstation search and navigation via the mobile phone. The system canautomatically alarm in case of overspeed and line deviation, and inform thedriver in case of personnel evacuation and collision.

GWM has exported products to Russia from 2004 as one of the Chinese automakers that entered the Russian market the earliest. Russia is also GWM's major overseas strategic market. With a focus on "customer satisfaction",GWM has always valued product quality improvement, actively conducted brand building and strengthened brand operation while improving the level ofafter-sales service, thus establishing a favorable brand image among local consumers.
