Take 5: HAVAL Adds to its Safety Record with 5-star ANCAP Rating

“Customer safety is paramount for the continued development of HAVAL as a global brand and this recognition by ANCAP is just reward for the company’s efforts.

“We will continue to develop our safety systems, with the introduction of key features such as autonomous emergency braking and lane assist systems in the next wave of HAVAL SUVs,” said Mr. Smith.

The addition of the five-star ANCAP rating is the latest in a remarkable run of success for China’s number one SUV manufacturer.

After notching up its one millionth sale in 2012, it achieved a record one million sales in 2016 as it maintained its unbeaten run as the biggest selling SUV brand in China – the world’s largest automotive market.
