The GWM TANK 300 HEV has today been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by ANCAP, Australasia’s independent voice on vehicle safety.

GWM welcomes the fifth model gaining top level safety rating in the latest ANCAP test, thanks to its latest gen L.E.M.O.N. platform (Lightweight Electrification Multi-purpose Omni-protection, Networking) .

The GWM TANK 300 HEV was tested and assessed for its ability to physically protect occupants and other road users in a crash – through the suite of destructive crash tests – and its ability to prevent or minimize the severity of a crash with another vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist – through the range of active collision avoidance performance tests.
