Recently, GWM won the 2023 Best Automotive Brand Award from the authoritative Chilean media Autocosmos. According to Autocomos' selection principles, the best automotive brand of the year not only needs to have impressive sales performance in that year, but also needs to be professionally evaluated by the media on vehicles and the brand's development strategy.  The honor reflects a full affirmation of the local market and users for the comprehensive strength of GWM in terms of product and service quality, and other aspects.

In 2023, Chile's overall automotive market sales declined, but GWM rose against the trend, with annual sales exceeding 14,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%, and a significant increase in market share. It achieved the first place in Chinese brand sales and ranked 8th in the overall market. GWM has been deeply rooted in the Chilean market for 16 years, and currently has sold over 180,000 vehicles.

The past year has been the most historic year for the development of GWM in Chile.

In May 2023, GWM launched two new energy models, the HAVAL H6 HEV and the HAVAL JOLION HEV in Chile. This is the first time that GWM has launched a new energy product portfolio in Chile, and it is also an important measure for GWM to go global with intelligent new energy technologies. The two intelligent new energy products, with their safe and intelligent performance, have brought Chilean users a brand new mobility experience.

In November 2023, GWM held a launch event in Chile with the theme of "Welcome to a new era". In the process of accelerating the automotive industry towards intelligence and cleanliness, GWM has been actively leading industry changes by quick launching its product series, and providing local users with rich product choices.

In December 2023, the TANK was launched in Chile. As a long-awaited model in the Chilean market, the TANK 300 received numerous positive reviews from authoritative media, including "Best Off-road Model", "A Fierce Beast that Disrupts the Chilean Off-road Market", and "Perfect Balance between Comfort and Off road", opening a new chapter in the intelligent luxury off-road SUV industry in Chile.

In 2024, GWM will further expand in the Chilean market, continue to fulfill its long-term commitment to Chilean users, and bring safe, intelligent, clean, high-quality automotive products and services to more users through the launch of ORA and a series of new energy products.
