Great Wall Motors listed among "2015 Forbes Global 2000"

On May 7th forbeschina.com released the "2015 Forbes Global 2000" list. Chinese enterprises claimed the top four and five of the top ten. Automakers including SAIC, Great Wall Motors and CHANGAN made the list. Great Wall Motors by virtue of 9.8 billion sales volume and 1.3 billion profit was ranked 752nd, 88 position up from last year.

"Forbes Global 2000" includes the world's largest and most competitive listed companies selected after a comprehensive evaluation based on four indicators: operating revenues, profit, assets and market value. China has 232 enterprises listed this time, outnumbering Japan for the first time, rank only second to the USA with 579 enterprises. On the overall list, China's four largest banks claimed the top four places for the first time, and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China retained the championship for three consecutive years.

In the auto industry, seven Chinese automakers including SAIC, DFM, Great Wall Motors, BAIC, CHANGAN, BYD and GAC made the list. Great Wall Motors was ranked 3rd. Among automakers, Toyota was ranked 11th ahead of other automakers and Great Wall Motors was ranked 17th.

"Forbes Global 2000" is a well-rounded list. The enterprises listed this year from 61 countries and regions achieved total operating revenues of 39 trillion US dollars, a total profit of 3 trillion US dollars, total assets of 162 trillion US dollars and a total market value of 44 trillion US dollars.
