On March 6, at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, Great Wall Motor Company Limited and Brabus Automotive signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation. Mr. Wei Jianjun, Chairman of Great Wall Motors and Founder of WEY Brand, Mr. Constantin Buschmann, Chairman of Brabus Automotive, and Mr. Christian Draser, Co-Chairman and CEO of Brabus Automotive attended the signing ceremony. 

As agreed in the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation on powertrain, R & D of design of interior and exterior decoration and vehicle adjustment, and will launch limited edition models, edition model of the year and customized high-end edition models of WEY. At the same time, the two sides will cooperate in terms of research and design of future and advanced technologies, explore the feasibility of global cooperation including homologation certification in EU market, as well as the feasibility of joint venture cooperation. It shows Great Wall Motors’ determination to become the world’s SUV leader as one of the Chinese companies in the globalization vision of “going-up and going-out” of WEY brand.
