Great Wall Motors Entered into Deep Cooperation with Hella Group, Germany-based Auto Part Giant

On July 2, 2012, Great Wall Motors signed a strategic partnership agreement with Hella Group. The both sides agreed to focus current cooperation on body electronic modules

On July 2, 2012, Great Wall Motors signed a strategic partnership agreement with Hella Group. The both sides agreed to focus current cooperation on body electronic modules, body control modules and lamps and will cooperate in simultaneous design and development of products and carry out nonscheduled technical exchanges. Present at the meeting were senior executives from the both companies including JanMoennekemeyer, vice president of sales of Halla China and his colleagues as well as Huang Yong, vice president of Great Wall Motors and Director of its Technology Center.


Now, Great Wall Motors has already cooperated with Halla Group in the procurement of products, including lamps used in Wingle 3, electronic gas pedals used in Florid and Great Wall C10 and electronic vacuum pumps and rain &light sensors used in Great Wall C50C. Moreover, its remote keyless entry systems and headlights clearing systems used in high-end products have been already planned to be applied to saloon cars, pickups and SUV of Great Wall Motors in future.

Huang Yong said at the signing ceremony that Great Wall Motors conducted product planning in accordance with EU regulations at present and thus the products can have strong competitiveness. Now, it conducts technical cooperation with top international auto part companies with the aim of meeting higher product requirements in future. The signing of the strategic partnership agreement with Halla is intended to cooperate with it in its core business and Halla will gain access to future products of Great Wall Motors so that the both sides can work together to manufacture products of high quality.
