On November 21, Great Wall Motors with the theme of “ the Great Wall of the World", made its appearance at the Ninth Guangzhou Auto Show, demonstrating 14 types of new motors, 4 engines, and one incremental stroke electric chassis, The exhibited models cover three categories as Haval SUV, Voleex cars and Wingle pickups, and also the 4 engines as GW4G15T, GW4C20, GW4B13 and GW3G10T that are all self-developed and produced by Great Wall Motors, which best demonstrates the R & D strengths and international development direction of Great Wall Motors.

Of such 14 models displayed at the Show, the biggest bright spot is Voleex C50 which is to be launched on the market after the Show. 6 types of best-selling motors are: Haval H6, 2012 Haval M2, Voleex C20R, 2012 Voleex C30, Wingle touring cars and Wingle 5; 3 models to be put into the market, are: Haval M4, Haval H5ESP version, Haval H3 four-wheel drive version; 3 strategic reserve models are: large business SUV Haval IF, large-sized globalized high-end pickup Wingle CL, pure electric new energy vehicles Voleex C20EV. In addition, there is also the Haval SUV Dakar racing car ready to set off.

China's first 1.5T model shows its glory face on the market - Voleex C50 rocks family car market.

Simultaneous launch of Voleex C50 on the market at home and abroad is the biggest highlight of this Show.

Voleex C50 is the first "T" family car launched by Great wall Motors, and is also China's first self-developed 1.5T turbocharged engine model, making itself a benchmark of Class A sedans with its advantage of T power + full-size. 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 98kW/5600rpm, maximum torque of 188N?m/2000-4500rpm, and the performance of naturally aspirated 2.0L power. In addition, 1.5T turbocharged engine made of aluminum alloy material, has the whole weight decreased by 20%, and overall vehicle fuel consumption decreased by 16%, effectively improving vehicle economy, with its fuel consumption of only 6.9L/100km under the integrated operating condition. In addition to the traditional five-speed manual gearbox matched with the engine, the transmission system equipped with CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) will also be launched.

Voleex C50 creates a "full-size family car" concept with its length of 4650mm, width 1775mm and height 1455mm, and wheelbase 2700mm. Its basic functions as automatic constant-temperature air conditioner, GPS + DVD, cruise control system and many other intelligent equipment; dual airbags, ABS + EBD, TPMS intelligent tire pressure monitoring and other safety equipment, ensure the maximum safety for drive. Four-wheel independent suspension enables Voleex C50 to have a better control performance.

Haval SUV Dakar racing car setting out for the rally - will continue to win glory for China.

Another highlight of the Show is that Haval will represent China to participate in the expedition ceremony of the "2012 Dakar Rally" for the third time.

As a leading brand of China's own SUV, Haval has won the champion of sales in China successively and ranks first in export volume among China SUV models. Haval SUV has two-year history of expedition for the Dakar race. In 2011, it’s won the first place of China’s car army in Dakar Rally. On 1 January 2012, the "34th Dakar Rally" will lift the curtain on another run in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Zhou Yong, China's best score holder will compete with Portugal champion Carlos Sousa in the third Dakar expedition by driving Haval SUV Dakar racing cars.

Foreign drivers joining the Haval SUV Dakar team, is based on the consideration of diversification of the Great Wall Motors' International Strategy and Great Wall Motors team members. In terms of both motor-manufacturing technology and drivers’ racing technology, Great Wall Motors is now in line with international standards. 2012 Haval SUV Dakar racing cars will still be decorated with alternate lines of red and yellow colors. A life-like Long with its tail and head bedding, circles around the whole body of racing cars, and the design is derived from the "China’s Long" which is rich in Chinese connotation, highlighting the distinguished leadership of Haval in the SUV field.
