Recently, first batch of 50 VOLEEX C30 for the order of 1,000 vehicles had successfully arrived at DjenDjen Port, Algeria. Great Wall distributor of Algeria and the taxi group held a vehicle delivery ceremony as scheduled. The winning of the large purchase order for more than 1,000 Great Wall Motors VOLEEX C30 from the taxi companies in Algeria has created a new record in bulk purchase for Chinese car brands in Algeria. The order will be completed in partial shipment in 2011.

It is understood that VOLEEX C30 eventually defeated a variety of models from many European brands including Renault and Dacia in this taxi purchase project. Although the sales of Renault and Dacia ranked top two in the local car market, VOLEEX C30 stood out with its stylish appearance, extra-large space, luxury features and outstanding performance. In addition, VOLEEX C30 is much more expensive than those two models, which proves that the influence of Chinese car brands in the overseas has been significantly improved and the brands have freed themselves from the traditional single advantage in price.

Since it entered the Algerian market in 2006, Great Wall Motors has won several procurement projects for bidding from the Algerian Government, with its possession volume in the local market exceeding 10,000 vehicles. Since VOLEEX C30 came in the market in Algeria in February 2011, its sales has been continuing to grow. Now it has accounted for 55% of the local overall sales of Great Wall Motors, with its possession volume reaching 40% of the total market share, bringing a very bright future.
