On Aug 28, 2012 the Italian Charity Team drove Great Wall Wingle pickup from Italy, finally arrived at Katmandu, the capital of Nepal successfully through plenty of hardship on the way, and donated the Wingle pickup to one Mahler hospital in Nepal. Till now the charity trip across Eurasia starting from Italy came to the end successfully.

This activity was initiated by the charity organization 7milamiglialontano including the 6-member Italy – Nepal charity team among which the international well-known mountaineer Silvio gnaro Mondinelli is one. On July 26 the charity team drove Wingle pickup starting from the highest mountain – Monte Rosa in Switzerland, run across Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and China…etc over 33 days totally. Though the journey crossed most of the region full of alpine plateau and mountain area, Great Wall Wingle pickup stands the test thanks to its outstanding performance, high road adaptability and durability, which further demonstrates the reliability of Wingle pickup.

During this charity activity the charity team donated the Wingle pickup to one Mahler hospital in Nepal. The charity team will also donate to “Friends of Monte Rosa”the fund collected on the way. After completion of the charity trip the team members will collate the pictures and videos collected on each stage, and make album and DVD. Afterwards, the fund after sales will be donated as well.

The charity team members have been well received by the local charity institute and civilians on the way. This activity has attracted attention and coverage of the Russian media. When the charity team members arrived at the franchise store of Great Wall vehicles in Russia and Kashi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, they got a cordial reception from the senior managements of the local GWM’s dealers respectively. When they mentioned the experience in walk, transfer of charity love, and the performance of Wingle pickup on the way, the team members highly praise the outstanding performance of Wingle pickup, put out their thumbs to show extreme recognition. The reception staff of the dealer also arranged a visit of the franchise store of Great Wall vehicles for the charity team and accompanying persons, presented gifts and took group photos.
